Do you know your password?
First, what is our definition of a password as it relates to your security and fire alarm system?
A password for our Monitoring Center allows you to cancel an alarm, obtain account information, make changes to your account and schedule a service appointment. A password is different from your code that is used to arm and disarm your security system
In basic terms, we cannot provide any information, or allow anyone without a password to cancel an alarm, or schedule service for your account. This can be very uncomfortable for all of us if you do not know your password. As a company we try to make our customer experience easy, flexible and positive in every way. Unfortunately, without the proper identification we cannot provide information or cancel an alarm condition, for your safety.
We have a responsibility in our relationship to make sure we are working in your best security interest. While in the moment it may not seem that way, if you do not remember your password. If you think about it, we are protecting you by not allowing that to occur.
We would encourage all of our customers to review their accounts. We can provide a Client Verification Form that lists all of your account information. You can change your password or anyone else’s on your account to reflect something that is super easy to remember.
