Summary:
We are seeking to add an Operations Support Assistant to assist the Inventory and Operations team with their responsibilities. This is an exciting entry-level position in a rapidly growing company that provides opportunities for growth and advancement. The role involves working with multiple teams, such as inventory, technical, and maintenance departments, to execute various functions within the company. Responsibilities:
- Candidates will manage inventory and oversee stock allocation and shipping.
- Responsible for generating accurate purchase orders and receipts and collaborating with accounts payable to approve authorized purchases.
- Collaborate closely with technical and operational teams to ensure consistent daily operations.
- Responsible for handling basic cleaning operations, including trash removal.
- Completing basic maintenance needs to the facility’s interior and exterior as needed (including snow removal when needed).
Skills:
- Possess a good work ethic and have a desire to learn.
- Have strong problem-solving skills and adapt to the environment’s needs to resolve issues if they arise.
- Self-motivated and have the drive to complete tasks and assignments satisfactorily.
- Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with other team members as needed.
- Fluent in basic software programs such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and Google Suite.
Qualifications
- High School or Equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Previous experience in the inventory, operations, and/or maintenance fields is preferred.
- Able to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Able to climb step stools, stairs, and ladders that may be necessary to complete any required tasks
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
- Full time
- Monday through Friday
- 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
- 40 hours weekly
Travel:
- No travel is expected for this position
